Hey Mama

April showers may bring May flowers, but this week, let’s celebrate the sunshine! Warmer weather is finally here, the perfect time to get outside and enjoy some fresh air with our little ones. Here are some ideas to make the most of the beautiful weather:

Park Adventures: Pack a picnic basket and head to your local park. Let the kids loose on the playground, explore the green spaces, or have a friendly game of catch.

Nature Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of things for your little ones to find on an outside walk, like different colored leaves, interesting rocks, or different types of birds. Change up your scenery by using Alltrails to find new places to explore in your area.

Backyard Blooms: Get your hands dirty (and the kids too!) with some seed planting. Not warm enough to plant in the ground yet? This method of sowing seeds in milk jugs is a great hack that kids can help with. Choose easy-to-grow veggies like cherry tomatoes, peas, or herbs.

How are you getting outside this week? We want to know!
