The Mom Memo No. 54: Family-Friendly Spaces
Hey Mama
We are always on the lookout for family-friendly spaces in our communities. One that we love (and should honestly utilize more) is the library! You might be surprised at all the incredible things your local library has to offer besides physical books:
- Events and programs: Libraries host events for moms and kids alike such as movie nights, puppet shows, craft workshops, book clubs, and more!
- Digital media: We constantly use the app Libby to gain access to audiobooks, digital books, and magazines available at our local libraries.
- Play spaces and activities: We love that a lot of libraries have spaces where kids can play in a safe environment. Many of them have sensory-friendly play experiences as well!
