The Mom Memo No. 53: Make the Most of Winter
Hey Mama
We know how drab things can feel after the holidays with limited sunlight and cold temps. This year, we’re embracing the positives of winter and making the most of this season of comfort and contentment. Here are some of the things we are doing to make our space more enjoyable this winter:
- Ditch overhead lighting. Let lamps warm up your space, and light some candles to add a snug vibe. We use these flameless candles for an instant cozy vibe without the hassle of a real flame.
- Simmer some spices. Cloves, cinnamon, orange peel, nutmeg, ginger and vanilla or almond extract are all common spices perfect for boiling on the stove with water to make your home smell like the holidays. An even easier hack – use your crockpot!
