Make Memories
Hey Mama
Whether your kids are counting the days (hours? minutes?) until the end of the school year or they’ve been done long enough to feel bored already (that didn’t take long), June is officially the start of summer, and July 4th (which will be here in a blink) is the summer’s first big bash. Create some sparkly memories with your kids without setting anything on fire.

3 Independence Day Party Hacks
Keep the kids entertained (and clean-ish) so you can actually enjoy your own party.
1. Create a DIY hand washing station OUTSIDE
Grab a large plastic container with a spigot, some soap and a bucket to let kids wash their hands without tramping in and out of your house with dirty shoes. #lifechanging
2. Glow in the dark EVERYTHING
Head to the Dollar store to pick up cheap tchotchkes that will keep everyone under the age of 10 entertained for hours (or at least minutes).
3. Arts & crafts that don’t require constant supervision
Save the scissors and glue for a day when you have the patience to keep your eyes on the kids. Now’s the time for sidewalk chalk, coloring books with red, white, and blue crayons, and pipe cleaner people – so you can have a summer cocktail in your hand instead of a jar of glitter.
