The Santa Express…
The Santa Express…
The holiday season has arrived and I’ve got the real tree, a new puppy and two excited children to prove it. I’m making a mental note to (attempt?) to take moments to slow down and enjoy the chaos. Here’s a few things which make our holiday special…
A family tradition…
A beautiful experience with the traditional story of ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas. This is our family’s absolute favorite Christmas book. The boys are always so excited to get it out in December. The pop-ups in this book are stunning, so stunning in fact, it’s one of the few books I don’t mind reading over and over, and over. #momlife
Get cozy…
What holiday tradition isn’t complete without matching pj’s? My addictions start and end with kids’ pajamas and only escalate with the holiday prints. I love the brand Kyte Baby. I also love these are available locally from the adorable shop in the East Village, Janes.
Countdown to Christmas…
If you’re a better mom than me, you might be doing Elf on the Shelf for your child(ren). There is zero chance I have time every morning to get the Elf set up for the day, so instead in my family, we do a daily countdown to Christmas activity. Here are some options that can be ordered on Prime to ensure you get started with your countdown on time! Brig and Cal each have their own, and now the only thing I need to do is remember when it’s December 1st. Also, if you see my kids and they tell you their Elf has been on vacation for years, and that’s the reason he’s not at our home “like the other kids” just go with it ok?
