Swimming Goggles A Gogo

This week, TMS founder and amateur mermaid, along with her 8 year old son Brig test drove (er, test swam) swimming goggles at different price points. Here they dive into the deep end with their personal experiences and reviews:

Seago Swim Goggles 2 Pack Anti-Fog Anti-UV Wide View

Brig’s Review

What He Liked:
These have a good tint and I didn’t really get any water into the goggles once, and they were somewhat aerodynamic, and they very much had good suctioning.

What Was Meh:
Almost half the goggle filled up with water when I did a dive off the diving board.

Mom’s Review

What She Liked:
I liked that these came with a case, and had a unique shape. They also had adjustable stoppers to prevent me from constantly adjusting them for the kids. A “one and done” is the best in my opinion.

Speedo Junior 2pk Seaspray Swim Goggles

Brig’s Review

What He Liked:
Nice, comfortable. Really good for diving off the diving board and it kept water out.

What Was Meh:
Did notice you can see the blue part while swimming and kind of annoying. And water came in them. Harder to adjust. Doesn’t like blue tint.

Mom’s Review

What She Liked:
Cheap and get the job done, if your kid loses goggles often – these may be for you.

What Was Meh:
I was frequently needing to help him adjust these goggles because they didn’t have anything to hold where you tightened them into place. Moms beware, these are more legwork.

Kids Dive Set – Sonny the Sea Creature

Brig’s Review

What He Liked:
It was really good. I like the slippers.

What Was Meh:
What I didn’t like was the tube so cause I couldn’t go underwater because it was like an open thing on the top so you would have to take it off and then go on your water, then get it back on.

Mom’s Review

What She Liked:
These are adorable, and provide a lot of entertainment. Swimming challenges, diving opportunities and walking around like a penguin gave my kids hours of fun. These came with a carrying case – not all that easy to transport back and forth with so many pieces, but overall worth the fun.

What Was Meh:
The snorkel had a clear piece to attach it to the goggles, which my kids lost in approximately 2 seconds. Luckily I had a back-up hair tie which solved the problems so just make sure to have a plan.

Shark Tribe Mini Swim Goggles

Brig’s Review

What He Liked:
No water in these goggles when jumping off the board best suction by far, including on the deepest in the water that I went. A very comfortable suction and I didn’t get any water in them and they were aerodynamic.

Mom’s Review

What She Liked:
These made all of my instagram photo dreams come true, adorable, functional, and had a really great hard case with them.
