Sensory Spaces

Sensory Spaces will offer quiet browsing, special programming, and other adaptive services that will vary by location. The Waukee Public Library will offer a slightly spooky monster-themed party with a simple craft and dancing on October 7, and simple winter crafts on December 9. Both will feature a dimmed calm room, computer availability, and access to library materials.

The remaining 2023 Sensory Spaces sessions are as follows:

• November 5: Urbandale Public Library from 12-1 PM
• December 3: West Des Moines Public Library from 1-2 PM
• December 9: Waukee Public Library from 4-5 PM
