Iowa Figure Skating Academy’s Learn to Skate Classes

Iowa Figure Skating Academy offers ice skating lessons for ages 3 and up on Tuesdays 6-7PM, Fridays 6-7PM and Saturdays 3-4PM at Metro Ice Sports Facility. You pick with day of the week works best for your family. $150 for 6 lessons. $270 for 12 lessons if you want to come twice each week. Additional skater in the family: $125 for 6 lessons. If you miss the start of a session, you can still join for a pro-rated fee. We also allow make-up classes if you have a conflict or illness, you may attend another day of the week or even double up in a later week to make up for a missed lesson. We try to make it as easy as possible for you or your children to get their full 6 lessons in their session and make as much progress in those lessons as possible. Our coaches are all trained and certified with US Figure Skating. Our head coaches Elena Tobiash and Igor Velikanov skated internationally and were members of the Russian Figure Skating Team and they skated professionally for Disney on Ice! Regular rental skates are included in the price of the lessons. We do have higher level figure skates available for sale and /or rent as well. Iowa Figure Skating Academy can teach you and you kids to ice skate whether if is just for recreation, preparation for playing hockey or becoming a competitive figure skater. Lessons are for both children and adults. Iowa Figure Skating Academy is known for our successful competitive figure skaters and the jumping and spinning skills that they have mastered.
