Haines Park Splash Pad Opening Celebration

Bring the family and enjoy a splash in Altoona’s newest amenity, the Haines Park Splash Pad. Altoona’s Mayor, Dean O’Connor, will be joined by the Altoona Area Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, commemorating the opening of the new splash pad. He will then introduce a very special guest, Altoona resident Ellie Wagoner, who has advocated for the new splash pad for several years. Ellie will be invited to activate the splash pad, and then gathered families can play in the new amenity and enjoy a popsicle treat, courtesy of Altoona’s Fareway Store.
